Ingredients
- 3pieceegg
- 1.5cupsflour
- 1.5cupsmilk
- 2tbspbutter
- 1pinchsalt
- 1tbspsugar
- 1tspvanilla
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and salt until evenly combined.

Add flour and whisk until the batter is mostly smooth, leaving a few small lumps if necessary.

Whisk in the melted butter until incorporated, then let the batter rest briefly.

Get a popover pan or muffin tin and grease each cup well with butter.

Pour the batter into each cup, filling them about ⅔ full.

Put the pan in the oven and bake at 450°F for about 15 minutes, without opening the oven door.

Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the popovers are puffed, golden, and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
